Accommodation Agreement
Article 1 (Scope of Application)
The accommodation contract and related contracts that this accommodation
facility enters into with the guest to be accommodated shall be subject to the
provisions
of these terms and conditions, and any matters not provided for in these terms
and conditions shall be governed by laws, regulations or generally accepted
practices.
2. If the accommodation facility enters into a special agreement to the extent
that it does not violate laws, regulations and customs, the special agreement
shall take precedence over the provisions of the preceding paragraph.
Article 2 (Application for Accommodation Contract)
A person who wishes to apply for an accommodation contract with an accommodation
facility must provide the facility with the following particulars:
(1) Address, name, telephone number, gender, nationality, and occupation of the
guest
(2) For foreigners, nationality and passport number
(3) Departure date and scheduled departure time
(4) Other matters deemed necessary by the accommodation facility
2 If a guest requests to extend their stay during their stay, only if there is
no other reservation at this facility, the request will be treated as a new
accommodation contract at the time the facility accepts the application and
receives the advance payment of the accommodation fee.
Article 3 (Establishment of Accommodation Contracts, etc.)
An accommodation contract shall be deemed to have been established when this facility accepts the application stipulated in the preceding article. However, this shall not apply if this facility proves that it did not accept the application.
Article 4 (Refusal to Conclude an Accommodation Contract)
This accommodation facility may not accept the conclusion of an accommodation
contract in the following cases:
(1) When an application for accommodation does not conform with these terms and
conditions.
(2) When the Hotel is fully booked and no guest rooms are available.
(3) When the person seeking accommodation is deemed liable to behave in a manner
that will violate the provisions of the law, the public order, or good
morals.
(4) When the person is a corporation or other organization controlled by an
organized crime group or a member of an organized crime group.
(5) When a person requesting accommodation is deemed to be intoxicated and
causing a nuisance to the neighborhood, or when a person is behaving in a manner
that
is a significant nuisance to other guests.
(6) When the person seeking accommodation can be clearly detected as carrying an
infectious disease.
(7) When the Hotel is unable to provide accommodation due to natural disasters,
malfunction of facilities, or other unavoidable causes.
Article 5 (Guest's Right to Cancel Accommodation Contract)
Guests may cancel their accommodation contract by notifying this facility.
2. If the guest cancels the accommodation contract in whole or in part due to
reasons attributable to the guest, this facility will charge a penalty.
However, this will only apply when the guest has been notified by this facility
of the obligation to pay a penalty when the guest cancels the accommodation
contract.
3. If there is no contact from the guest more than two hours after the scheduled
arrival time, this facility may consider the accommodation contract to
have been cancelled by the guest.
4. If you cancel on the day of your stay, a penalty will be charged.
(1) 100% of the accommodation fee for each guest
(2) 100% if you cancel the day before
(3) 50% if you cancel 3 to 5 days before
(4) 30% if you cancel 6 to 7 days before
5. If the number of days of a reservation is shortened, the penalty fee will be
charged at the rate of one day (the first day) regardless of the number of
days shortened.
6. In the event that the accommodation contract is deemed to have been
cancelled, and it can be proven that the cancellation was due to non-arrival or
delay
of public transport such as trains or airplanes, or other reasons beyond the
guest's control, no penalty will be charged.
Article 6 (Right to cancel contract with the facility)
This facility may cancel the accommodation contract in the following cases.
(1) When the Guest is deemed liable to conduct himself/herself in a manner that
will violate the laws and regulations, public order or good morals in regard
to his/her accommodation, or when he/she is deemed to have conducted
himself/herself in such a manner.
(2) When the Guest behaves in a manner that causes significant nuisance to other
Guests.
(3) When the Hotel is unable to provide accommodation due to a natural disaster
or other force majeure.
(4) When the Guest smokes in bed, tampers with firefighting equipment, etc., or
fails to comply with other prohibited activities stipulated by the Facility.
When this facility cancels the accommodation contract in accordance with the
provisions of the preceding paragraph, it will not charge the guest for any
accommodation services etc. that have not yet been provided.
Article 7 (Accommodation Registration)
Guests will be required to register the following particulars at this facility
on the day of their stay.
(1) The name, age, sex, address and occupation of the guest
(2) For foreigners, nationality, passport number, place of entry and date of
entry
(3) Departure date and time
(4) Any other matters deemed necessary by the facility.
2. For foreigners who do not have an address in Japan, we will ask you to
present your passport and make a copy of it.
Article 8 (Check-in/Check-out times)
Guests may enter the facility (check-in time) from 3:00 p.m. and must leave the
facility (check-out time) by 12:00 p.m.
However, if guests are staying consecutively, they may use the facility all day,
except on the days of arrival and departure.
Article 9 (Observance of Terms of Use)
Guests must abide by the usage regulations established by this facility while within the facility.
Article 10 (Payment of Fees)
If you choose to pay in advance, you can do so by credit card or bank
transfer.
If you wish to pay on the day, please pay in cash.
Accommodation fees will be charged even if the guest voluntarily does not stay
after starting to use the guest room.
Article 11 (Handling when contracted rooms cannot be provided)
When this facility is unable to provide a contracted room to a guest, it will, with the guest's consent, arrange accommodation of the same standards elsewhere where possible.
Article 12 (Refusal of continued accommodation)
This facility may refuse to allow you to continue your stay in the following
cases, even if it is during the accepted accommodation period.
(1) When a falsehood is discovered in any registered or applied information
(2) When the User fails to comply with the Terms of Use set forth in Article
9
(3) When the Guest smokes in bed in a bedroom or other area, tampers with
firefighting equipment, or violates any other prohibited acts set forth in the
rules
and regulations of this facility.
Article 13 (Handling of Deposited Items, etc.)
This facility does not handle any deposit items.
We will not be held responsible for any loss or damage to any items, cash or
valuables brought into the facility by guests.
Article 14 (Care of baggage or personal belongings)
Valuables, with the exception of guest baggage, cannot be received or stored
prior to the stay.
If a guest's baggage or belongings are found left behind at the facility after
checking out, they will be kept at the facility for seven days, including the
day
they are found. After that, valuables will be turned over to the nearest police
station, and other items will be disposed of.
Article 15 (Parking Lot)
There is no parking available at our accommodation in Tokyo.
If you are coming by car, please use a public or private parking lot.
Article 16 (Disclaimer)
Guests are responsible for their own use of computers and other communication
devices within this facility.
This facility shall not be held liable for any damage suffered by guests as a
result of service interruptions caused by system failures or other reasons while
using computers or other communication devices.
Article 17 (Guest Liability)
When this facility suffers damage due to the guest's intention or negligence, the guest shall compensate this facility for the damage. This does not apply when the damage is not due to reasons attributable to the guest.
Article 18 (Jurisdiction and Applicable Law)
Any disputes arising from or relating to these terms and conditions shall be resolved in accordance with Japanese law at the district court or summary court having jurisdiction over the location of this facility.
Total amount to be paid by the guest
* Accommodation fee: Basic fee (facility usage fee + service fee)
* Additional charge: Service charge for additional people
* Other: Amount spent on meals, ingredients, goods, and services
* Tax: Consumption tax is included in the basic fee.
Supplementary Provisions
These accommodation terms and conditions will apply to all accommodation facilities managed by JP STAR GROUP Co., Ltd. from September 1, 2024.
If the guest has made the reservation via an online travel agent, the penalty charges set by that agent shall take priority.
